Co-Owner of SKY TING YOGA, Yoga Teacher + Choreographer
How would you describe your athletic / movement / fitness practice(s)?
I practice A LOT of yoga!!! My primary style is my teacher’s practice called Katonah Yoga, but I also love practicing with the teachers at my studio, SKY TING. I’m also forever a dancer, and try and incorporate at least one dance class a week into my schedule!
When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you say?
I’m co-owner of SKY TING, yoga teacher, and choreographer :)
What are the top three most important investments you’ve made in yourself?
Moving to New York, Yoga teacher trainings, Travelling the world.
What prompted you to pursue a path (career or passion) tied to athleticism / fitness / movement?
I consider movement to be my first language and how I communicate best. I tried for a moment a career that had nothing to do with being in the body, and it just didn’t make sense for me. I knew I needed a way to stabilize my world (in more ways than one), and when I made yoga my priority, everything fell into place.
What makes you feel amazing in your own skin?
A long yoga practice, a few hours in a water spa, a swim in an ocean.
Do you think of yourself as a role model? Does that factor into the way you live your life?
I try to be mindful of the influence I might have over others. I try and support friends and live by a standard of kindness. I am also quick to dispel any idea that I have it all figured out, and will readily admit that we’re all trying to figure out this life together.

When you’re “performing” (in whatever form that means to you) how do you feel?
