How do I keep my Negative in good shape?
All of our materials are super luxe. They're not so delicate that you can't wear them every day (because then what would be the point - right?!) but when it comes to wear + care - like with any nice garment - the more delicate you treat them, the longer they'll last.
Wear: Bras (like boys) need room to breathe (who knew!). It's best to roate them on a daily basis to give the elastics time to readjust. Our rule of thumb: keep a handful of bras in rotation. More to support? More bras in your drawer :) With underwear ... listen to your mom + change it daily. End of story.
Care: Underwear and tees can be machine washed cold/delicate and laid flat to dry. Bras should be hand washed in cold water, with delicate detergent. Yea it's annoying, but so is cardio. Wires pop in machines and Tide frays fine fabrics. Read more on our blog post about exactly that!
What size bra should I order?
Negative tends to run true to size for most customers - so if most of your bras are 34B, it's a safe bet to start there.
If you don't like the way your current bra size fits, shoot us a note: email@example.com - we'd love to help diagnose the crux of the issue and recommend the best new size for you to try.
The good news is that we always account for a round of free returns on bras so we'll be able to get it right!
What size underwear should I order?
When it comes to underwear - our sizing (approximately) runs as follows:
0 = XS / jeans size 24, 25. 26
1 = S / jeans size 26, 27, 28
2 = M / jeans size 28, 29, 30
3 = L / jeans size 30, 31, 32

I can't find my size, what's up/what now?
Negative is just a baby company - we worked on our first collection for several years to refine every detail. We wanted to make sure our customers will love our line as much as we do, so we kept the styles + size range edited to start. As we continue to grow, so will our range. What is this 'Sister Size' you speak of?
Many women actually find that they can wear a few different bra sizes and still get a great fit. Wait, whaaaat? Yep, it was news to us too - underwire sizing actually works on a diagonal sliding scale, which basically means that the actual underwire used in a 36B is the exact same wire in a 34C, is the exact same wire in a 32D. Or, to go in the opposite direction, the wire used in a 32DD is the exact same wire in a 34D, is the exact same wire in a 36C. For real though!
Do you charge for shipping and returns?
Domestic shipping is free for orders over $100. First returns or exchange shipping is always free. For orders under $100, shipping is a $5 flat rate to anywhere within the continental U.S.
For those of us who need it faster, we offer Priority Mail (1-3 days) for an $10 flat rate. For those of us who forgot an important birthday, event or holiday, we offer Overnight Mail (1-2 days) for a $30 flat rate.
And finally, for those of us in Manhattan, we offer UberRUSH for same-day deliveries placed before 4pm ET.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes - we currently ship to Canada for a $30 flat rate shipping fee and handle all other international orders by individual request via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you let us know what you'd like to purchase, we'll do our part to get you the best ship rate possible and provide a quote for review.
The takeaway? If you live outside the U.S., it makes sense to get a small group of your friends to go in on a bigger order together so the shipping won't suck so much (we're sorry!) Then we'll do our part to get everything to you as quickly and smoothly as possible.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to send out shipments every few days. All orders within the continental U.S. should arrive within 5-7 business days on a bad day, within 3-5 on a good day. Good days may or may not involve flirting with the USPS guy... We also offer Fast (USPS Priority) and Rush (USPS Overnight) options for those of us in a hurry!
What's your return/exchange policy?
If you're not happy with your purchase please email us at email@example.com within 14 days of receiving your delivery. In your email, please include your order number, reason for the return and item/size for exchange, if applicable. We're just a baby company so we really do take feedback to heart!
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in their original packaging in the same condition that you received them. Please note, we only accept returns on bras, and not underwear.
We cannot accept your return if more than 14 days have passed since the delivery of your order. Additionally, if more than 14 days pass between receiving a returns label and sending back your items, we cannot process your return and will ship the items back to sender.
For first time, eligible returns or exchanges, we'll email you a pre-paid shipping label to print and paste on the original envelope (or something similar). Remember to include a copy of the packing slip and your order number and we'll take care of the rest.
Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, we'll let you know we've received them and inspect the items. If approved, we will issue a refund or credit / exchange within approximately 48 hours. Please allow for 10 business days to see returns reflected on your credit card statement.
Can I return underwear?
We don’t want to wear someone else’s underwear and would guess that you don’t either. We do not accept returns on underwear that's been opened, as we cannot re-sell them to other customers.
However we will issue merchandise credit for select orders to exchange for another size or style if it just doesn't fit. The upside?
