Dip High Waist in Coral

It’s the holy grail of bikini bottoms. I love wearing bikinis because they’re so much easier and more practical to deal with than one pieces, but in the last decade (my forties), my body confidence has plummeted with my post C section shelf, softer tummy, less than ideal butt, extra 15 pounds, all of the stuff that happens to a lot of us in middle age. So I’ve confined myself to one pieces for the most part. I’m so glad I tried the Negative bikini! This bikini bottom subtly holds your tummy in, but it doesn’t feel confining like shapewear since it’s not shapewear. The high rise is super flattering and conceals lower tummy problem areas. The rear manages to be both concealing, yet a little cheeky and sexy at the same time. I don’t know how they pulled that off; it’s magic! My husband loves this bikini too, and I love it so much that I bought all three colors immediately!

The material is comfortable and the cut is flattering for us curvy women. However, it definitely runs small. I’m a true size 2-4 so I ordered a small, but it was way too tight. I usually have to size up with swimwear and the same goes for negative. The medium fit much better, I feel like I could have even gone to a large but think that would have been too big.
