These are so comfortable and luxurious, definitely worth the hype. They are quite thin, so they would work well as a lounge legging at home or base layer under pants in the winter. I love that the waist and cuffs don't have any harsh elastic that digs in (which I've found with other long johns). I'm 5'7" and about 135 pounds (athletic build) and there's a fair amount of room in the length and they're so stretchy that they don't feel at all too tight on the waist or thigh. Compared to a compressive workout legging these feel much looser and roomier so they don't "hold you in" so to speak but they also don't feel at all binding even under jeans.
