Jessi Frederick
Stylist

How would you describe your personal style?
Comfortable and practical, sometimes feminine, most times something your dad would wear.
Tell us about what you chose to work with from the Negative collection, how you styled those piece(s), and why?
I chose a matching white sports bra and high waisted bottoms. I gravitate towards simple sets, not only because it requires less thinking when getting dressed, but because I find they give a sense of being more polished.

What are the top three most important pieces in your wardrobe and why?
Anything I have “inherited” from my Mom, Grandmothers, and even my Dad, are what I deem to be the most important. I’m not one to typically splurge, but I do like to take in objects that were once loved by the people I love most. I have a denim jacket that was my Dad’s in his 20s, my Mom/Grandmothers crocheted white dress (pictured in this shoot), and jewelry from my Great Grandmother.

Best undergarment-specific style tip you can share?
It’s okay to let them show. They’re not always supposed to remain a secret, they can also be your best accessory.
