Tell us about what you chose to work with from the Negative collection, how you styled those piece(s), and why?
I chose a few bras, bodysuit, and a sheer top all in black. I tend to where a lot of black. I styled each piece to be chic, feminine and sexy. As I am getting older, I don't want to shy away from any of those characteristics - I want to embrace them all.
What makes you feel strong and confident when it comes to what you wear?
A well-fitted or tailored piece. I love when I wear something that fits my body perfectly but is also comfortable. I’m on set most days so I need be in something that I feel like I look good in and can move in. That’s usually something a bit oversized.
What makes you feel amazing in your own skin?
Saying ‘NO’ to people or projects. I realized that trying to be overly accommodating when I didn’t want to was hurting me and I eventually made the tough decision to start saying no, no matter how uncomfortable it made me feel. Knowing that I am honoring my feelings makes me feel confident and amazing in my own skin.
Favorite place(s) to shop (could be a… store, website, city, etc.)?
I really like the conceptual stores in NYC like Dover Street Market, Totokaelo, and Maryam Nasir Zadeh. I find the shopping experience makes whatever I am buying feel thoughtful and special. Lately I’ve been trying to buy less and purchase more secondhand pieces- The Real Real has been great for that.

Wear what you want.
Favorite style icon?
No one in particular but I love seeing well dressed, confident, older women.
